We have tens of thousands of neighbours living amongst us who have to regularise their immigration status from time to time through the Home Office's labyrinthine, discriminatory and expensive procedures.
I am happy such people are represented in the Scottish parliament.

Dr Manivannan was entitled to stand for election on their visa and was duly elected. Nothing has been done wrongly.
They would ordinarily be granted a graduate route visa now having completed their PhD.

Meh The UK has an information mismanagement problem, whether online, in the papers or on TV, and until this is addressed, we'll be in this continued cycle of high stress, high tension, frustrations aggravated and further away from the British values of fairness, justice and kindness that so many aspire to. We have to do better 🙏
