while it is appreciated that you are taking a stand and clarifying the clip, you do continue to be vague about how deep your associations with asmon are, who has been very clear about how he feels about the current political climate and has made hypocritical statements regarding discussing politics on stream. the general public is not obligated to have any sort of statement from you, but there is a level of responsibility you have as a public figure and people want clarity when it comes to who they support. this statement comes off more as damage control rather than a sincerely thought out post, esp considering your initial reaction on stream. this post still continues to protect the people who you are associated with while appearing to please the masses who got upset with your original stance. again — you have zero obligation to people please the public but this apology just seems very half-assed. i hope you decide to educate yourself further on what’s happening in this country, especially since you appear to have the privilege of not experiencing any of it yourself on a personal level.

Hey everyone. I want to sincerely apologize for the post I made after our last loss. I made a big mistake using that GIF, and I understand that it may have caused discomfort to many people. From the bottom of my heart It was never my intention to make any offensive reference, but I recognize that the context and choice were inappropriate. I especially want to apologize to Japanese fans, including those living in Brazil and Japan. I’m aware of the strength and importance of the Japanese community in our country, and I should have been more mindful and responsible with my post. I’ve apologized directly to the CAG players and will continue to reflect on my mistake so I can grow from it. I’m committed to learning more, being more thoughtful in my actions, and behaving more responsibly going forward. Once again, I apologize and promise to be a more respectful and mindful player, both in and out of the server.

As much as I appreciate the transparency and communication, i can't help but feel that we should have received this announcement sooner. On the other hand, we finally got our update and now know that PoE 2 takes priority to the point where the next PoE 1 league will come... May? June? When do you think?

Well... fuck. Can't say this wasn't expected but it's a kick in the nuts regardless. Was looking forward to blasting some PoE 1 in the near future. If you're not super into PoE 2 and just wanted some more PoE 1 it'd be hard not to feel real fucked over and unloved at this point

@FunkyLordWedge @DarthMicroT GGG devs don't respect their players and their time, and never have. I love PoE but they have always been their own worst enemies, and Chris et al are too stubborn to realize there is an inbetween of "Overpowered" and "Nuked from Orbit".

@ComradeSpaceG @deebyman @DarthMicroT Yes, because everyone playing "Cast on.." builds was trying to break the game. Generalizing retard. The build diversity isn't that massive, and an entire archetype is based on "Trigger" spells, that a large portion of players came to on their own without searching up meta builds.
