@Ben_Soulstone This sounds so sad. This sounds to me a bit like lazy writing? Or perhaps too hasty writing? Oh gods... Maybe the writers wanted to sound cool? Or something? I hope..?

@HappyShiroJin Because they didn't have plot armor like Lady, I guess. Anything fun about the show gets overshadowed by stupid shit. It's very disappointing. Even if I wasn't a fan, the dialogue alone is incredibly bothersome and stupid. Tons of exposition. Way too much repeating of it.

Whelp. Season One of DMC is completed. What a waste of good animation and time. Adi Shankar is a fucking hack that doesn't know shit about shit. I gave a rant after watching the first half of season one, and sadly the rest of the season did not make things better.

@Ben_Soulstone But why kill characters that has unique styles? Like you can use them for a long time. Make them a plot point or something?

@HappyShiroJin One example of bullshit: Lady has a full squadron of barely named 'friends' that are supposed fellow demon hunters. All they do is aura farm and then die. They do NOTHING else. Even in a flashback, they barely do anything. And they get unique designs and voice actors.

@Ben_Soulstone This is just comical... I seriously can't believe this is what they ended up with. I understand Adi wanted to make something "cool", but he really messed up...

@HappyShiroJin Same. It really feels like Adi is doing his best to make people mad. Like there are constant DMC5 enemies that get murdered easily. Character assassinations. It's just a hot mess.

@HappyShiroJin I am going to watch it all so I won't be challenged on my criticisms. Vergil also goes on a talk show to call out DARKCom aka the group Lady is a part of that pretty much sucks. She again betrays Dante constantly and he's constantly getting his ass kicked. Vergil struggles too.

@Ben_Soulstone I am speechless. If Vergil bitches about that Dante was the favorite or stronger, that is not Vergil. Thank you. Now I don't need to watch the show

@HappyShiroJin Vergil is in season 2, and can confirm from what I've seen they butchered his character. He literally pledges allegiance to Mundus who "saved him" and trained him, also gave him Yamato and his blue coat. He also bitches and whines that Dante was the favorite and was stronger.

@Ayllu_Drum You are absolutely correct. I have to admit, I love Sett. I love his story, his design, that he is such a mama's boy. But I admit, he is not a good person. He is a liar, a mobster, a real bad person all over. Yes, he tries to help his mother, but he does it the wrong way

Sett is not a good person. He helps his mother financially, but he also lies to her. He works in an underground, illegal arena, so he doesn't pay taxes. And that's not even mentioning the other shady businesses he profited from. Sett is a Ionian's mobster. x.com/acervosettrigh…
