Dystopian short story idea: a family hide in a bunker to escape some kind of apocalyptic event. They use an LLM to get updates on what's happening on the surface for decades. But unbeknownst to them the LLM is entirely client-side and hallucinates literally everything.

@SpolchenDev this weird trend makes it so confusing for everybody, even major firms misjudged everything and people that weren't slightly responsible get the axe, way I see you are more than consistent and you will get your opportunity when environment stables or would get from elsewhere.

@SpolchenDev I didn't know that it was such a rarity but considering game development is such a hard multi-media, even programming side has highly specialized and distinct jobs. assuming what you write and stuff I have seen before you are certainly qualified more than average. the thing is..

Still very buggy but it does have some interesting plants, even with debug stuff. But as you can see, I need to fix how leaves are placed right now, it's not correct. still looks like 90s software, maybe I should just roll with the aesthetic...

@SpolchenDev that is actually sounds so bleak also I assume work of multiple different engineering students, didn't get the funding implies that there isn't a prototype which means that it wouldn't capture non technical people easily. did the project get some recognition or reference?

@Chieftaincore [...] which can be used for electric cars, didn't get funding because all the money went to IMO obvious AI scam projects. It's kinda ridiculous how nitpicky they are for actual real projects, but anything with the title "AI" gets a fast pass.

@SpolchenDev I feel ya, you do show technically impressive low level things too on this blog of yours. so it also shows that you have an good education but is it really a bad employment environment in euro-zone as well?

@Chieftaincore Still kinda crazy how a project like this would have landed me a FAANG job in a cushy job with good pay just 16 years ago. Now you can build mfing rockets and cybernetics and can still struggle to get a job ;-;
