I’m mourning our three brave service members and I’m praying for their families and loved ones as they grieve an incalculable loss. The families, Congress, and the American people deserve a transparent accounting from the President about the decisions made by his Administration that led to the death of three American soldiers. Congress must exercise its constitutional war powers immediately to protect our troops and prevent the President from unilaterally starting another costly forever war.

Another Palestinian American murdered by Israeli settlers. Nasrallah Abu Siyam deserves justice.    Everyone in Congress must stop turning a blind eye to the horrors happening to Palestinians, including American citizens, due to Israel-sanctioned settler violence. We must hold the Israeli government accountable. Not one more dollar, not one more excuse. Let's start by passing Block the Bombs.

With the passage of Prop 50, Californians were sold a bill of goods, allowing Gavin Newsom and his radical allies in Sacramento an unprecedented power grab to redraw the Congressional map and silence those who disagree with his extreme policies. Gerrymandering districts because you don’t like the results of an election is politics at its absolute worst. Governor Newsom pouring millions into this ballot initiative while crime goes unchecked, housing costs skyrocket, and taxes as well as gas prices remain among the highest in the nation shows he’s more interested in protecting his party’s stranglehold on the state than delivering on the issues families face. Despite the passage of Prop 50, I am determined to keep fighting for the families I represent in Congress.
