(ODDLY enough, said "indisputably bad years" began the year Eisner made Iger his second-in-command. That same year, his issues with Roy E Disney began, via overreacting to Fantasia 2000 bombing.)

5 reasons why @Michael_Eisner is more deserving of the "Disney Legend" title than @RobertIger: 1) He saved Disney from *actual* decline in the 1980s. 2) He led Disney during its animation Renaissance 3) He expanded the parks into a global empire. 4) He built the modern Disney business model (home video, consumer products, synergy). 5) He delivered sustained *organic* growth--not just acquisition-driven expansion. Iger simply scaled the Disney that Eisner created.

Woody Allen did not marry his adopted daughter. He did not adopt Soon Yi. He was never a father figure to Soon Yi. He never lived with Mia or her kids. Woody Allen did not cheat on his wife. He wasn’t married to Mia. They never even lived together. Two states found Woody innocent of the molestation allegation. He was never even indicted because it was so ridiculous.

They framed Hamas’s atrocities as “resistance” and Israel’s response as the real problem, convinced that abandoning Israel would magically end jihad and bring peace. 4: The Paid Voices: Influencers and think tank figures quietly funded by Qatar and Turkey. They suddenly developed a deep concern for Palestinians once the checks started clearing. 5: The Naïve Nice-Guy Conservatives: People with friendly Muslim neighbors, coworkers, or gym buddies who couldn’t reconcile October 7 with their personal experiences. They convinced themselves that Israel is to blame for Islamic violence.

This is a poor misguided take that shows the disconnection from X to the public. Most of the viewers of Harry Potter don’t even know about her comments or controversy, what they see is Harry Potter and that world. Watching or interacting with the new series does not automatically make anyone Transphobic. If we were to police entertainment based on the actions or wrong doings of one person oh man we would be boycotting a lot of stuff.

No, recasting would’ve needed to happen, & that alone would’ve annoyed many… and the adaptations wouldn’t be 7-9, as they don’t fit.
