@XVagrant12 Depends on the location in regards to America but Japanese whiskey can definitely be traced to the Scottish tradition. Nikka was set up in Hokkaido because Masataka Takesuru was hellbent on getting the terroir and climate as close to Scotland as possible.

@XVagrant12 The UK is surprisingly underrated for their contribution to alcohol. Especially considering how Nikka and Suntory owe their whiskey legacy to Scotland, and the fact that 70-80% of ale beers in the market today have English origins.

Our food is terrible, we’re protective of tea I ordered a “British tea” in Taiwan and they frothed the milk. I honestly felt like I’d been personally insulted and sat in the cafe for 30 minutes in a dilemma Giving it back full would be rude But I can’t drink it I made the decision to hand it back and rush out of the door.

@hotcake_kun_ Brother I think it's time you seriously plan out an American meat pilgrimage. Summer has a lot of bbq competitions so if done right you can plan it out like a grand tour and see a lot of the country as well as soak up the local culture.

@teclis0734 Bruschetta is very different from BBQ and more Italian. The NYC area has great Italian food though
