They play the same position + also Barcola who's 21 years old yet they perform at a very high level all of them.

I will be honest, I didn't expect Olise to reach this level so quickly. I will take that L with pleasure. I wasn't angry when he decided to join Bayern. Because I believed Estevao can reach a really good level too, and I still believe that. If we have Olise at RW and Palmer at CAM, Estevao will struggle for minutes. So, it's okay to take the L and hope Estevao surpasses him in the future. Then, that decision will be justified. You can't really predict what happens with players' development, because the coach, club, teammates, environment, and so on play a big part. Also, Estevao is barely 19 while Olise is 24. That's a 5-year gap in development. Don't expect these kids to become amazing overnight. Give them time to settle and adapt day by day. The likes of Hato, Santos, Gittens, Sarr will become top players here or elsewhere. Our problem as a fanbase is a lack of patience and some people lack the understanding of players' development.

I had no issues with signing “the best young talents in world football” as those BlueCo frauds once told us. We only have ONE that is in that conversation and that’s Cole Palmer, I’ll give Caicedo as well actually. Out of the 20+ signings they have made this is a catastrophic failure.
