🚨 UEFN Developers 🚨 If you genuinely believe the system is broken, do more than just like posts. Stop being afraid to speak up because you think honest feedback will hurt your chances with Epic. Constructive criticism is something they need to hear right now. Comment. Share feedback. Repost concerns. Make your voice heard. But do it respectfully. Don’t turn every discussion into attacks or toxicity. Be clear, constructive, and honest about the issues you’re seeing. And don’t wait to speak up only when the problems finally affect you personally. A healthy ecosystem requires feedback from everyone, not just the creators currently affected.

Hey there, analytics in Creator Portal do not fully reflect recent Discover updates. In this instance, impressions from Epic’s Picks are totally missing from the impressions charts/tables you see in Creator Portal. We are working as quickly as possible to address this and any other new or missing data sources. Thank you for your patience and apologies for the confusion.

It’s really nice, I hope the conversions increase! But as pequ sarcastically mentioned in the original post, it would be really great for creators to get a heads up on changes like this, as it makes us scramble to change our textures and widgets across maps to fit the new design

@HaroldAtEpic @FNCreate Thank you for the reply. Still very weird how we used to be able to see avg playtime but now we have to do some manual math to figure it out even though it's a crucial part of metrics.

Hey @FNCreate, I wasn’t going to comment on this publicly because I already know there will be backlash given this issue currently affects me directly. However, I’ve been vocal about these kinds of issues for a long time, including when they had zero impact on me personally. That said, I’m genuinely confused right now. To my understanding, Homebar is supposed to rotate Epic Picks maps, yet the same map has effectively held the slot for the last 24 hours while the other featured projects haven’t been given the same opportunity. Over the last two weeks this has repeatedly been an issue, often needing to be pointed out before it gets addressed, despite creators being told the row was intended to rotate and showcase all Epic Picks maps. Why not simply rotate the Epic Picks projects every 30–60 minutes and give every featured map a legitimate opportunity to gain traction? If there was a miscommunication or misunderstanding around how Epic Picks would rotate or be surfaced in Homebar, I think many creators would appreciate clarification so expectations are properly set moving forward.

Good callout - you can use the creator portal to dig into these metrics. Downloading the session length chart in the gameplay tab gives you more details on the number of sessions at various lengths. That data can determine what your average session length is as well as what percentage of sessions extended beyond a certain time frame! For average playtime - take your total playtime and dividing it by total players 📈

@FNCreate Quick question. This new doc says average playtime and QPTR but we are not able to view those metrics. We used to be able to see average playtime until the old analytics tab was disabled. How are we supposed to know these metrics for our islands?

Hey @AstralFCT, Harold here - I can understand the confusion. Previously, we tried to give as many islands 50K impressions as possible, but it wasn't guaranteed. Now, we’re taking a different approach to testing as we shared yesterday, and the amount of impressions will vary from game to game based on our established signals. Sometimes, those impressions would come all at once and could lead to even more unqualified impressions. We feel confident, and our data is showing us, that our new surfacing is allowing new islands to get more exposure than before our updates. By making this change, we’re able to surface more new islands to players. Since the recent changes to Discover, we’re seeing new islands and more developers getting more exposure and CCU than before. That may vary island to island, but is something we can confirm as a whole.

Hey @TimSweeneyEpic , can you please look into the discovery situation in UEFN? A lot of creators are complaining and not happy that they only get 10 minutes of exposure (as they should) but the team seems to blatantly ignore creators for weeks now.. Can we please get a statement on this?
