New client acquisition channels take 6-9 months of daily tracking and iteration to become reliable and stable. Don't start unless you're working on that timeline. Ads? 6-9 months Organic? 6-9 months Partnerships? 6-9 months Results should trickle in before then. But cost, scale and reliability will RARELY be on spec before then.

@Harris_Bryan Hey @Harris_Bryan do you do paid calls? We've grown quickly through partners and a friend pointed me your way that you might be able to help with some of the issues we are running into

Designownow, my design agency, just hit a milestone: $120k in total revenue. 🎉 When I saw the number, two thoughts hit me: 1. 'Hell yeah, we did it!' 2. 'What the hell… why isn’t this my *monthly* revenue? 😐' Don’t get me wrong—I’m beyond grateful for every client, every project, and every opportunity that got me here. Just a year ago, I was scraping by, praying for $1,500 a month to support my wife and I. Now, I’m pulling in over $10k a month—more then 8x what I once dreamed of. But here’s the face slapper: crossing that $10k/month mark, a goal that once felt impossible, didn’t bring the fulfillment I expected. Instead, I felt… overworked. 🫠 I was totally anticipating a huge dopamine rush after hitting this milestone! But instead, it made me realize something I didn’t expect: what felt 'possible' or 'impossible' was just a poor belief system I had created that has been throttling my ability to accomplish greater things. I can see my perspective shifting in real-time. Making $100k a month? It’s no longer an 'if'—it’s a 'when.'

I often wander what the Israelites thought as the wandered the wilderness in year 39. Passing the same sprit. Seeing the same graves. Thinking “more of this!” Only for this to be year of freedom and entering the land. Same headstones - but no longer an indicator of the past.

@Camp4 There are examples of the opposite in the Bible. Like Abraham. He "took action" when he should have waited on God (Ishmael). How have you discerned wether action or waiting on the Lord are in order?

Years ago I signed up for a men’s group at church. At our meetups the men would share their personal struggles. There was a lot of talk about trusting God… “Things will happen according to His plan and on His time”. After a few meetings I noticed that nothing changed... it was same stories every week. One day I got frustrated and posed a question to the group: “What if God‘s plan is for us to take action to fix our problems?” 🦗🦗🦗 (I didn’t last long in that group.)

Circle feels like it has a real development team that knows how to build sustainable robust software. It works. It’s tight. MN feels like every time they have a new idea they build it. Without actually thinking about the software as a whole. The product design mind on it is not stellar. Not fully baked or robust.

If you use Circle or Mighty Networks for your community, what are the pros/cons of what you've chosen? Favorite and least favorite aspects? Best or missing features? Response time to issues? Thanks!

@ryanckulp slightly related: I do think of this @patio11 quote frequantly: "Every sufficiently complicated Excel spreadsheet is, in fact, a SaaS application waiting to happen.""

I have a theory. You're looking for a business partner. You have it narrowed down to 2 people. You get to visit their homes. Are you choosing the person with Garage A or Garage B?
