Mimics the tactics of child predators by isolating children from their parents. 2. Undermines parental rights and the parent-child relationship. 3. Potentially puts children at risk by encouraging secret gender transitions without parental knowledge or support. 4. @the_diff_view @wtf_gravity @Jason @GavinNewsom People seem to be arguing this is the state putting itself between a student and their parents, Id argue it's the opposite. It is removing itself from the conversation. Students have rights as well, freedom of expression is one of them.

Side question but I believe in JS Mill that I cannot know anything until I have heard the best arguments from all sides. Also I mean this with all sincerity as I know there are a bunch of trolls on here. You seem like you both know and care so thanks in advance.
How do we resolve the difference here? I think the other side would argue that, being loving parents, they are doing what is best for them by having their children accept themselves for who they are and what nature gave them when they were born. Something like that.
Seems like polar opposites and I am unsure how to reconcile the two with my favored approach of compromise.

@the_diff_view @wtf_gravity @Jason @GavinNewsom It would eliminate what they deem "forced outings"; where schools/teachers were required by law to inform parents if the student requested to be referred to something other than what is on their birth certificate/school records. shouldn't be an issue for open and loving parents.
