That's a great question! Rimworld is fantastic, especially with its amazing modding community, but Harrowlands is built entirely from the ground up around a medieval fantasy setting. Every mechanic, from the progression systems, specialized abilities, and evolving relics, to the lore-rich narrative, is tightly integrated into gameplay. My goal is to provide an intentionally crafted experience that feels immersive and fresh, rather than relying on mods to achieve this atmosphere. I genuinely believe (and hope!) you'll find Harrowlands to be a refreshing and engaging take on the genre. Please do stay tuned, I'm excited to share the upcoming demo with you soon!

@Harrowlands What can this game do that rimworld cannot? With the endless mods and tweaks we can do to rw to make it a medieval colony sim why would I buy another game? Honest question I love new takes I just don’t know what this can do better or different.
