@adatta02 @TechFocused @agupta Granted Eng did have a few minor improvements to the Red Line’s speed times (Braintree & Ashmont branches before you actually get into the city are still a disaster). Have overall been disappointed with how well he started out to how mediocre/stagnant improvements have become

@dogshit95 nah you are just coping. the irishman not only has the aged actors and terrible cgi problem, it also has terrible editing. thelma is really a mid editor, and scorsese just doesn't care the same way ridley scott doesn't care about historical accuracy in napoleon

"the irishman" deliberately breaks verismilitude by having Scorsese and his crew trying to reenact the artifice of their prime gangster movies but running against the friction demonstrated by their age, if you dont get the resulting recursive commentary you don't get the film.
