Gap is teaming up with Hailey Bieber on the "Hailey Jean." Gap's new collaboration with Hailey is directly inspired by her birth year, 1996. The capsule features two styles: the Extra Baggy Jeans, inspired by Bieber's own men's Gap '90s Loose Jeans, and the lightweight '90s Low Rise Loose Jeans. Both come in three different blue washes and will retail for $89.

My thoughts:
Oconnells and Jpress are stuffy and on the nose
Also hate Jpress classic fit
Prefer Gitman and Drake's generally
Anglo Italian did a handful I liked in linen
Original Madras Trading Company has more expressive iterations sometimes in the mid range
Filson has been doing stuff with a workwear bent at a great price, which can suit the right guy

@DanAlroyPhilo @rfkenmore @DanAlroyPhilo @rfkenmore i'm biased but ours at @ProperCloth. More muted colors than most, but if you like it put ours up against anyone. Aside from us I'd probably say O'Connells or J. Press. The Permanent Style ones well made but i don't like the patterns.

@rfkenmore Poplin and Madras have typically a very different weight, feel, and look, beyond the plaid. I think when most think about dress shirts, they think about poplin

Poplin is a type of plainweave fabric that’s usually pretty smooth, tightly woven with fine yarns — can feel dressy Can be solid, can be check, stripe, plaid, etc. Madras is also a plainweave, but more irregular and casual in construction. Originates from Madras in India which I think got renamed since The most notable part about madras is the plaid patterns, which people also call madras. It’s always plaid, unlike poplin. Someone down market like A&F might apply a madras-inspired plaid they create in-house to their stock fabric in a broad shirting program and just call it madras for ease of use

@rfkenmore Every Equinox is basically fine it never goes below a certain standard and there are always 2-3 exceptional classes/instructors in every location.
Premium mediocre in some ways (razor burn and white shirt turning yellow from their "deodorant"), but very clean.
