Sturm said he had no issue with the Bruins’ leadership hierarchy with no set captain. Wouldn’t commit to the Bruins needing to name a C before next season.

@DJ_Bean Idk if you’re being sarcastic, but playing with a fully torn MCL is a bad thing for a player with Zadorov’s skill set. It’s crazy they’d release this info. A healthy defenseman would’ve been better. Really poor coaching and overall management from the Bruins.

@WEEI @smclaughlin9 He’s wrong. Swayman himself def has a lot to be proud of. But 0-3 at home in the playoffs, with THAT level of effort, is the same as not making the playoffs. They didn’t lose hard fought games. They lost barely-fought games.

I hate to say it but Marco Sturm prob has a short leash next season. Going 0-3 at home against a meh Buffalo team is unacceptable. The goal isn’t to make the playoffs, the goal is to win a cup. Even if the Bruins are underdogs, the coach needs to make sure the effort is there.
