Inspired by a conversation we had this week on @TheSkatePod, I asked Sturm about Mittelstadt's play and growth this season: "Definitely skill. He gets in there, he's very strong with the stick. So he's one of the guys I trust him on the wall anytime of the game, and he just makes those plays. And again, it's the combo, I think it just works really well with these guys...He's really feisty with the puck, he gets a lot of loose pucks."
