🚨Not a huge ANNOUNCEMENT guy but wanted to let you all know I've joined @NBCSBoston's digital team in a full-time role. I'm excited to join a great team and keep churning out some quality #content for the people.
It was quite the journey over the past couple of years to get here but I'm very happy to land in a great spot, where I hope to be for a long time.

The Bruins have announced a bunch of front office moves, including Evan Gold (who was GM Providence and assistant GM Boston) departing the organization effective Aug. 1. Former Sabres GM Kevyn Adams joins as Senior Advisor to the GM.

@OBX29 I think it makes sense, actually. Like, Poitras has played 69 NHL games, but is clearly not fully established yet given that he only played 3 last season.
But if all 69 of those games came last season and he was a full-time NHLer all year, I'd say he was established.

@smclaughlin9 Number of games played is not used as a standard cutoff for this list, it's just "arbitrary" at his discretion. To not include that in determining who is a prospect and who is not seems strange.

@SpokedZ It's difficult for refs to see dives in real-time. If VAR helps get it out of the game, I'm all for it. Everyone knew VAR could be used this way going in.

I guess this is a hot take, but I think it's the right call. Clear dive = clear yellow. His first yellow was clear as day, too. We all want soccer to cut down on blatant flopping, so I'm not going to be selective about it. Embolo knew he was already on a yellow. That's on him.
