While we rightly desire to give our best to the Lord in ministry b/c He deserves it & b/c we love Him who 1st loved us but it’s arrogant to think He cannot do great things thru us if we aren’t the best in that ministry. He uses us & delights to use us but is never dependent on us

@Danielfwells @revcaltn Congratulations and praying for the Lord’s blessings. Had the joy of serving under Rev. Bill Link as Asst. to the Pastor for Youth Ministry from 1972-1974 while at Covenant College with Cal their faithful retiring Pastor. Great years and wonderful people.

Yesterday I was received into the Tennessee Valley Presbytery as I transition to be the next Pastor of St Elmo Presbyterian Church. It’s humbling to do life with these folks who were shepherded so well by @revcaltn. And it is an honor to call Cal a friend and mentor.
