@NoonWithATune @TheMusicTech Yup! For me it was less about weight gain (although that was a factor too) but more the huge impact a sedentary lifestyle has on my joints. Constant pain even when doing simple tasks. Spent years seeing doctors and physios etc, but they all drew a blank. The fix: keep moving!

@TheMusicTech Pretty sure that @HarryLightfoot has one in his studio. I thought about getting one, but thought that I might benefit more from getting out of the studio, as otherwise I'd spend even more time in there! Haha! It's great advice, Paul!

And this is why I've joined the gym. I've decided that I need to take action to try and combat the way I've been feeling about myself for the past few years. The downside to my job is that I'm incredibly sedentary, and so have put on several stone since being busier.

@HarryLightfoot Woooah, that's seriously impressive and cool! I had a custom desk made years ago, but now wondering if I can somehow retrospectively fit a motor so that I can stand and work. Do you mind if I ask what walking pad you have?

As I’ve got busier with work over the last few years, my body is much stiffer than it was - largely due to the long hours sitting down. Maybe part of it is just through getting closer to 30? Can anyone hit me with any exercises that encourage flexibility?
