Just last week, Labor dismissed fuel shortage concerns as a “right-wing conspiracy.” Now we’re told airlines have just 29 days of fuel reserves; and suddenly it’s “don’t panic.” If they were lied then, why should anyone trust them now? This is what happens when a government is crisis-ridden. Fuel security is about national security. And right now, Labor is out of its depth.

I work 1/3 of the hours I used to with amazing flexibility and earn double. I am much healthier & happier. I have a LOT of fun every day too. Life is what you make it.

I suspect it is a him problem as well. If Australia is as woefully bad/Z-grade in everything as he makes it out to be, why havent the hundreds of thousands of Chinese immigrants who have come here over the last few decades fled back to China, Hong Kong, etc? I ask this question in all seriousness. If China is the never-ending peak experience OP says it is, why do any Chinese remain here? Why haven't they returned?

All week, Chris Bowen has tried to gaslight Australian's concerned about fuel shortages that "there's nothing to worry about". Today, Bowen announced we will be raiding 20% of our roughly 30 day fuel reserves. This is just two weeks into a conflict that could last months. It's one thing to be facing a crisis due to decades of neglect and net-zero policies, it's another to try and lie to our face Chris Bowen. Australia should have the cheapest energy in the world with all of our natural resources. Instead we've got leaders that are more interested in gaslighting us than getting on with the job.
