@StuartC59629 I’ve had simple deck and roof approvals that used to be 2 weeks now take over a year. It’s pure insanity.

I’m not a Jim Penman fan but I do respect what he built. Jim put 5000 franchisees who want to “have a go” together and after being in business for as long as I have, that’s a miracle. But you can’t do in Australia today what Jim did. Which is exactly why you don’t see any serious competition at the scale of the current “Jim’s Empire” Australia regulated that out of existence over the last 40 years and created a near impossible economic environment for simple service business operators to go it alone. You never see the businesses that don’t start. There’s no ABS series for them. No press release. Just a quieter, poorer, more concentrated economy where the only players left are the ones big enough to afford a compliance department. Jim’s is too big to fail now. You are too small to start. That’s the part that breaks my heart. More government and more immigration will not fix an economy that’s gridlocked and choking on regulation and compliance with zero financial incentives left for risk takers.

@ghostofnobodys Excellent assessment 🇦🇺🫡 Some hard truths to confront - they want us gone. People who can create are not useful to the globalist cabal.

I keep checking in on this every 10 minutes our of curiosity. Other countries flags, singing other countries national anthems, hosting a vigil for another country's politician. Does Australia even excist anymore? Sorry, but this is just as distasteful as the "Melbourne welcomes Modi" rally last week. We cant even sing our National Anthem on Australia Day at a game of our national sport, but singing other nations anthems and waving their flags on our streets and in our stadiums is all good these days. What absolute frogshit!
TheConservative@TheConservati19

What in God's name is this? I dont' beleive anybody should be speaking ill of Lindsay Graham after his death, but holding a vigil for a USA politician in Australia isn't right either in my opinion. Most Australians wouldn't know who he is, and many who do, would resent him as a neo-con and a warmonger with legitimate justification. Why are we holding a vigil for him here???? x.com/i/broadcasts/1…

@LionJ47752 @jordanhknight_ Yes but this can be countered by a massive increase in productive capacity. Real people, value adding to real things with the workds cheapest electricity. The population ponzi is designed to paper over the real solutions and wreck your country for Fabian delusion.

@shallowchal @jordanhknight_ You're fighting the wrong war Scotty. Debt based monetary system needs debt expansion annually, forever. If there isn't immigration, the debt creation has to come elsewhere or entire financial system collapses into deflation spiral. The problem is debt based money.

As real as it might feel, I don't think it's necessarily productive to obsessively watch every weekly poll to try and draw analysis out of it. Better instead to focus on winning the bigger policy conversations: immigration, housing, affordability etc.

The sub continent problem. 🫠 Immigration has its own momentum. Australian wages mean more money is sent back as remittances, helping fund the next family member’s move to Australia. Add in policies like the 25% pay increase for Uber Eats drivers, and you’ve just increased the earning capacity of many recent migrants as well as temporary visa holders. More money earned here means more money flowing overseas and potentially more resources to support further migration. It’s a self-reinforcing cycle. A literal “DOOM LOOP” of ethnic voters who despise you and your culture. #ShuttheGate28 #AustraliaFirst

Just as the average Roman didn't realise their empire was collapsing around them, the average Labor voter remained oblivious to the slow-motion destruction of their own country. They ignored every warning sign. The roads just stopped being repaired. Hospital emergency waits ballooned to 14 hours and became the accepted norm. Bulk-billed GP visits simply stopped existing. Power bills, rent, and groceries kept climbing under endless "temporary" inflation that somehow never ended. Car break-ins, youth crime, and home invasions became just another part of life in cities that used to feel safe. Public infrastructure projects either never got finished, exploded in cost through waste and corruption, or delivered substandard results. Housing targets were repeatedly missed as migration continued to surge. Education standards declined in favour of DEI objectives. Welfare and NDIS spending exploded with waste and fraud. And through it all, the ruling party's only objective was to get re-elected at all costs. They ignored the problems and spent years dividing the nation, redefining everything as "racist," obsessing over atoning for wrongs committed centuries ago by people long dead. They lectured ordinary people about white privilege and colonial guilt, promoted identity politics and constant symbolism, boasted about DEI in their ranks, and dismissed any criticism as bigotry. And it worked. Their voters cheered. They swallowed the slogans, shared the hollow social media posts, chanted the trendy buzzwords, and kept voting for more of the same. Rome didn't fall in a day. Australia under Labor didn't either. It was quietly dismantled, one ignored warning sign at a time, through complacency, denial, and a stubborn refusal to face reality and vote differently.

Ypres is one of the most beautiful towns I’ve ever visited. Medieval cathedral. Cobblestone streets. Cafés full of people enjoying a Belgian summer. Fields of corn stretching to the horizon. Then you realise that just over 100 years ago, every building was rubble, every tree was gone, and this landscape had become one of the bloodiest battlefields in human history. Tonight, the Last Post still echoes beneath the Menin Gate at 8pm where thousands of Aussies once walked to battle. Belgium never forgot the Australians who helped save it. Full vid in comments. Lest we forget. 🇦🇺🫡 #AustraliaFirst
