@wearekickstart Absolutely saddened to hear this. So sorry for your loss. Knew Dale just from interacting on here and he was always someone genuinely happy to help out when I needed to lean on someone for advice. Thinking of his family at this time. RIP Dale.

@Lee_Sullivan85 Massively agree Lee, entering the 14th year of funding and so many schools have made little to no progress. There will be some teachers who have been at a school the whole 14 years and have had zero professional development.

IMHO It’s time for change in how this money is spent on PE. If you were one of those panicking about the funding, please use this funding to upskill & develop teachers, ensure sustainability beyond funding & stop outsourcing. Make PE a whole school priority next year.

I understand the relief many feel now the Primary PE funding has been renewed. I must admit to being a little disappointed. I think the funding has had a negative impact on primary PE in many schools. Outsourcing and de-skilling. Left some with less than they started with. 1/2
