We recently booked an order in Jamaica to construct hurricane resistant buildings capable of handling wind speed of 280 to 320 kmph. Our Octagonal shaped homes split the wind at every edge and steer its direct along the surface and not against it. The #Ui walls manufactured in Unified Intelligence - Bangalore, have an intrinsic flex since its input Raw material is shreds of single use plastic waste (#SUP) -MLP. Unlike the brittle brick walls that fall on the inmates under external force, the Ui walls withstand earthquake vibrations and wind pressure. Plastics are naturally thermally Insulating. Thus it keeps the external temperature out and internal temperature intact. Buildings constructed of the #SUP reduce energy demand on air conditioning by over 50%. Equally suitable for geographies that require #heating or #cooling inside. These modular walls are manufactured under strict quality control systems in the factory. That guarantees consistency in Quality. We reduce the scope of work at the site to the maximum. The panels are flat packed and transported to the site. Here, with the ease, similar to joining LEGO pieces, the Panels click fit to become walls and roofs of a building within hours. Zero water is used in this dry construction technology. Similarly, no cement, sand, concrete, bricks or steel is used. That means reducing use of Earth's resources. The construction of a 800 sqft 2BHK house can be completed within 2 weeks with a team of 7 people. In multiple storeyed buildings, our 1,000 sqft of Ui modular wall can be installed within 3 hours with a team.of 5 and some hand held tools. The 8 mm skin of cement fibre boards on the Ui walls offer fire resistance.and a surface ready to paint. It equally prevents leaching or decomposition by UV rays of the Sun. The environmental impact is such that 10,000 sqft of construction using Ui technology can consume the entire single-use-plastic-waste created in Bangalore in ONE day i.e. 100 Tonnes.
