@Justcallme__P I was specifically responding to your saying that “most” fans live over an hour’s drive away without traffic, because there’s no way that’s accurate. Regardless, we both agree that a central rink will be better for everyone. Happy Thursday, man. Another big game tonight.
English

@Hartamophone You do realize there's over 100 small Valley towns neighboring Ottawa right? I live in Rockland, getting to Kanata with gas/concession prices etc doesn't even make sense. Additionally, busses don't even go to Orleans after 10pm lol
English

Sens fans, this is lame. Team is absolutely cooking in a playoff-run game and the place empties out long before the final horn. Yes the rink is in Kanata and the parking lots are annoying, but it gets tough to defend the fanbase when this is the norm. Let’s step it up. #gosensgo
English

@Justcallme__P Most fans travel over an hour without traffic? That would mean that most fans don’t live anywhere between Kanata and Orleans. I’m not *entirely* sure that’s accurate.
English

@Hartamophone Haha what a loser. Rink is in the middle of nowhere. Most FANS travel an hour plus NO traffic to attend. Plus the parking lot design is horrible. Sens were up big, totally makes sense. If you want attention so badly, go play on the 417
English

@PhilWeaks Insightful contributions on well being and mental health. Thank you sir.
English

@Hartamophone My well being is being affected by a game that has clearly been decided, please remind me why my and my family's mental health decides the fanbase you giant piece of shit.
English

@Hartamophone The CTC Kanata situation is brutal. The move to Lebreton Flats cannot happen fast enough
English

@OttawaGooch Marshy’s was great. When a group of us were camped out for playoff tickets in ‘96 (I think it was ‘96), Marshy himself brought us out some wings and nachos. Awesome times.
English

@Hartamophone Bring back Marshy's!
It's too bad there's nowhere good in the CTC anymore to go afterwards to wait out the traffic...
English

@HolySchick33 @pavellubanski This is actually a pretty great response.
English

@kesleeman37 Absolutely. The Redblacks even made a post making fun of them for it.
English

@Hartamophone Maybe you can confirm this because It’s been debated by friends and myself. When Melnyk owned the Sens, was there a period of time where the top level was tarped off from sale ?
English

@JoeByron87 Certainly not a single-game opinion. I’ve been going to games regularly since ‘92 and have been saying this very thing for years. Hardly think it’s “insane” to be disappointed with a largely empty rink at the end of a meaningful win.
English

@Hartamophone This is not the fucking norm pal. Once in a blue moon. Stands are always packed postgame after big Ws with player interviews coming up - would do you some good to attend more than a singular game to base this insane take off of.
English

@Undertaker61 Well, The Undertaker - if that is your real name - since you were kind enough to ask about my credentials I can tell you that I was at the first ever game played in that building and literally slept on the sidewalk outside it to get playoff tickets back when that was a thing.
English

@Hartamophone Have you ever been in the building dick head? Especially for a playoff game? Try it.
English

@MrPhilYOW Absolutely. And every other NHL rink I’ve been to has been a much easier experience. I’m not saying that our situation isn’t frustrating.
English

@anthony_derossi Oh man, didn’t realize I would have known you by a different last name. We totally went to kindergarten together. I hung out at your house!
English

@Hartamophone Went to St Nick's as well before it closed. Def was there! Cheers!
English

@dpayer1928 It was all over the building, not just the 100s.
English

@anthony_derossi Oh wild. I went to St. Nick’s for kindergarten then Brook Lane and Meadowlands. But if you were at St. Greg’s we would have been around each other for sure.
English

@Hartamophone Yessir.... St. Gregory's School. I actually recall your street.
English

@27jorsan27 No argument with any of that. It’s a frustrating rink to get into and out of, both in terms of the location and the building itself.
English

@Hartamophone Attended an event at Scotiabank arena and was out on the street in maybe 3-4 minutes after it ended. Super easy to get out as there are multiple exits and everyone is heading in different directions… plus they have public transit.
All things they have that we don’t have.
English

@Hartamophone I feel like we went to elementary school together.... 🤔
English

@BustinCidyermum I mean, it kind of looks like a lot of people who were there last night are way ahead of you on the walkout idea.
English

@Hartamophone Shifting the blame from ownership to fans is exactly what they want you to do/why it'll never change.
Fans should either refuse to go or stage walkouts where everyone leaves between the second and third leaving an empty arena and pissed off players.
That'll motivate them lol
