Caleb Love is going to go down as yet another example of how a player with the right skill set can scale down and find a path in the NBA. Love may not have been the most shining prospect as a 1A on a team, but those volume reps gave him plenty of experience actually operating with the ball in his hands, figuring out good/bad shots, and where he should operate off the ball in order to get the best looks. Love has positional size/athleticism as a combo guard, and has the dribble/pass/shoot skill set to work as a fourth or fifth option within structure. The Portland Trail Blazers may have found a keeper in Love.

Prime example of how narratives can change your trajectory. To me it was pretty clear Caleb was an NBA player after the Final Four run but social media painted a picture of him in a way I’m sure turned teams off. Did he play a part in it? Maybe but either way I’m happy to see this young man flourishing!

One of the most ridiculous calls I've seen in quite some time. EVERYBODY -- and I mean EVERYBODY -- thought that was a foul. You can't reach around a dude like that. He even fouled BEFORE he caught the ball. Absurd.
