@Frooxius @Nulled_Floof I agree you get emulated eyebrow up based on the eyelid status. can't get mad though. The fact that eyebrows can be moved separately from the eyelid is personal but it does increase the range of what's possible, it's then up to the artist to take advantage of that in novel ways

@Hash2305 @Nulled_Floof I think it depends on what you really use + some personal preferences. I use the Vive Pro Eye + Babble face tracker and I find it more expressive compared to when I use Quest Pro when traveling. Like I said though - you get eyebrow expressions with Vive Pro Eye too.

@Rob_VRC 私は「ルミナ/Lumina - Face Tracking Add-on」を購入して、使用したのですが顔が動かなくなってしまうので、Perfect Syncに設定しています😭 以前のバージョンだと動いていたのですが、最新版にしたら動かなくなってしまって;;

I agree that eyelids there and overall eye look there are more stable and accurate but the range of expressions being able to be portrayed is wider and I think more suited for SocialVR. It sure is nice but when it comes to priorities I'd take eyebrows over dilation any day. even on an avatar with a pupil greatly modeled

@Hash2305 @Nulled_Floof I disagree on that. The eye tracking on Quest Pro feels a lot more muted to me than on the Vive Pro Eye. On avatars with really big eyes, the pupil size is amplified and it adds more subtlety. You also get the eye widen expression with Vive Pro Eye too which links to eyebrows.

@Nulled_Floof it's all down to software filtering and ML at the end of the day, I've seen headsets with Tobbi's eye mirror patent perform much worse at conveying emotions than headsets with offset cameras

Pretty cool technically speaking but I don't think it matters all that much compared to having more tracking points related to the expression of the user. The value of eye and face tracking in SocialVR is being able to share expressions naturally. I personally don't look at someone's pupil diameter more than I look at how angry or surprised they look. Areas where QPro does a much better job at than the VPE thanks to reporting eyebrow and a single stable eye look vector

@Nulled_Floof There's more to it too! Vive Pro Eye tracks more things - like your pupil size, which you get in mm. It's fun to see someone's pupil go big or small when light changes in the world. Quest Pro doesn't track pupil size at all.

初めてhashさんのフェイトラ導入してみたんだけど 顔が動きすぎて感動してる QuestProだと眉の動きも反映できるから表現の幅が物凄い 耳も表情に合わせて動くから改変で耳外すのもったいないな~
