its nothing but a windows option. doesn't brick anything. it just disallows booting when the hardware is detected. remove the hardware. boot. uninstall riot. fixed. these cheat defenders needs to go aswell. make cheating in online competitive games illegal thats what i have been saying for years.

Riot is BRICKING cheating hardware that costs up to a grand to buy. DMA cards are hardware devices that plug into your PC and touch memory directly, bypassing the CPU and Windows. Riot is detecting them and destroying them permanently, posting to X to brag about it.

@Grummz about time. hopefully more games sees what kernel level anti cheats can do to fix cheating. this is a major step in the right direction for competitive games

@MeowingTism @Rsoaker27 I just did, and here's what I found CPU: top 20% GPU: top 38% RAM: median amount Storage: bottom 23% (512GB) or top 50% (2TB) Hard to know exactly without a complete breakdown, but the better than 70% seems realistic considering those numbers, at least for the 2TB model.

“Console gamers” who don’t know shit about hardware are worried Steam Machine is 6x more powerful than SteamDeck. That’s it. That’s all you need to know.
