@BitcoinRachy If gold could’ve been divisible and easily transported we would never have had silver, fiat , bitcoin Kaspa or anything. The only reason we are still having conversations about this is because there’s nothing that can do it all yet. Until Kaspa

Serious question for the Kaspa crowd: What matters more in a global money: Higher throughput OR Highest probability it still exists, unchanged, 50 years from now?

@Srodland I’ve been in the kas community for a long time and they are the least toxic I’ve seen and actually the most open minded when it comes to looking at other projects or opinions, don’t know where you’re getting this from. Engagement I suppose

🚨 HOT TAKE: The $KAS community is hands-down the most toxic and delusional group in the entire crypto space. They attack every other project nonstop, call everyone else “slow” or “centralized,” yet their own chain has been “3 months away from moon” for years while delivering nothing but hopium and aggression. Newsflash: $KAS will NOT survive the next few years. It’s a dead-end narrative with zero real adoption path. Holders are going to get absolutely rekt when reality finally hits. If you’re still bagholding this toxicity, do yourself a favor — rotate out and get some real exposure to actual builders like $Qubic and other serious projects that aren’t built on pure delusion. Change my mind. Tagging the real ones: @Bitcoin @ethereum $SOL $BNB $XRP $ADA $DOGE $SHIB $AVAX $NEAR $TON $SUI $APT $SEI $HBAR $FET $INJ $TAO $Qubic and every other community that actually ships. $KAS is cope. #KASisCope #GetRekt

@binance, Thanks for including me in the top 100 blockchain people list, appreciate the signal! I must decline the Dubai invite though. I do not wish to disrespect, but many of the award voters are avid kaspians who rooted for my kaspa status at least as much as for my research. Let them win or count me out. Crypto has turned from a euphoric cypherpunk project to a house-friendly casino. You may not be the culprit, but as a top player you hold the lion’s share of the responsibility to correct this, and the October crash your USDe oracle glitch helped trigger adds to what needs to be addressed. There are three classes of crypto, as @mert put it recently: commercial crypto, casino crypto, cypherpunk crypto. <> A TBTF CEX should know better and play a different game with hardcore crypto projects. When binance lists a green frog three weeks post its “launch” but skips a fair-launched-Nakamoto-Consensus-100ms-upgrade-ATH-top-20-the-only-nonbitcoin-marathon-mined project, this is not merely binance rationally calculating; it is also binance molding the market in a way that is alas misaligned with the roots of the movement. You may feel that kaspa’s sovereign money thesis is boring – that bitcoin is already money and that implementing an internet-speed bitcoin is useless - fine. Wrong but fine. But what’s the thesis for the green frog? Money is a classic chicken-and-egg product. It is a scam up until one moment before tipping point, “most of the value comes from the value that others place in it.” Considering your resources and influence, I think it's safe to say you can serve as both the egg and the chicken and make it worth your while to push sound attempts towards tipping point. @cz_binance tweeted recently that “strong projects will be listed.” But binance is part of what defines "strong", it bears responsibility for the market’s compass and impulse and definition of strong. It is not a read-only entity. Binance listing fees are legit, they are just unfit for category cypherpunk. Kaspa devs and early supporters fairly mined less than half what satoshi and hals mined. We don’t have a 20% ZEC-style founders’ reward or protocol-enforced dev fund; this is not a jab at ZEC and the wonderful @Zooko, who was crashing in my car on a late Thursday back in the low ZEC MC days – if somebody deserves to win it is zooko – but assuming binance is not taking a maxi bet, it should revisit its relationship with hardcore crypto. We are here through bull and bear, ICOs NFTs XYZs; and we are the source of confidence that restores faith and capital inflow post meme-induced or CEX-induced crashes. Please fix this. Thanks again, hashdag cc @michaelsuttonil Exhibit A: Binance Innovation Zone Exhibit B: 10 bps Nakamoto Consensus

@BitcoinRachy Advancements in tech have given us harder money over time, seashells/rai stones to gold/silver and now bitcoin. It’s all about how hard the money is at the end of the day that’s all that matters and the trends seems to be as we get more technically advance the money gets harder

I think a lot of altcoin arguments quietly assume money is a tech product. I don’t think that’s true. Money is a social consensus wrapped around a set of monetary properties. Agree or disagree?

@BitcoinRachy Trust and security is paramount at their level and bitcoin has been flawless so far, never went down never been duped or hacked. All the alternatives are just failed clones that barely move the speed needle anyway

If Bitcoin is “old tech,” then why do institutions, governments, and capital markets keep taking it more seriously than every faster alternative?

@elldeeone Once much bigger accounts post even slightly positive of Kaspa I reckon it’ll start momentum quickly because truth be told 99% of people aren’t technical and rely on the likes of yourself to relay trustworthy information of social media

Bitcoiners have figured out that if they mention Kaspa, they get engagement. They do it half as bait, half as a joke. And if the posts do numbers, daddy Elon might even shower them in $$$ for the effort. In their mind, they get to laugh about playing the community while being rewarded for it at the same time. At some point though, it starts to look a bit like Stockholm syndrome. They hate that it’s not Bitcoin, but once they get a taste of the engagement, they keep coming back for more. They think they are using Kaspa for engagement, but after a while it starts looking more like the engagement is using them. Maybe that says something about them. Maybe it says something about the Kaspa community too. Kasfam are very quick to engage with anyone who drops the magic word, whether the mention is genuine or not. I get that instinct because I’ve felt it myself. When you believe in something, you want to explain it. You want to make the case to anyone that will listen. But that eagerness can easily look like naivety. And sometimes it probably is. Still, every now and then, one of the people farming that attention seems to catch a real thought they were not expecting. I also would not be surprised if some of them end up alienating their own Bitcoin maxi crowd in the process. Because for a lot of maxis, anything thats not Bitcoin is just another shitcoin. So while they are busy farming Kaspa engagement, some of their own side are probably just unfollowing and moving on.

@BTCForevercast @KaspaSilver @thekaspaonion @realvijayk No because there hasn’t been a scale to scale alternative. If Kaspa had massive adoption and presence the way say - contactless payments has? You can absolutely bet I’d drop the debit card in favour of quick hard money payments

@BitcoinRachy Yes bitcoin may no be at the forefront of tech but it is a fact that it is the most reliable most secure time tested monetary energy vault we have thus far. This makes it the most secure network ever devised and that has monsterous value

The reason Bitcoin is so powerful is its network effect and adoption. This in my opinion is more important than the underlying speed, technology, or anything else that other coins may have “improved”.

When I discovered Kaspa, I was on my way to becoming a maxi. I definitely had the maxi knowledge and understood why only Bitcoin, but I had already experienced Bitcoin’s failures. I had my Bitcoin on a cold storage device and wanted to make a transaction. I picked the average fee, but by the time I was waiting for my transaction to go through, the mempool naturally spiked, and my transaction got stuck. I seriously had to watch a YouTube video on how to change my transaction fee so it would be accepted faster. Back then, I had the ‘Bitcoin is perfect’ mentality. After this experience, looking at it as a product, it’s the worst piece of shit I have ever tried.

He’s in a very tricky situation. He cannot grow his account by talking about Bitcoin anymore. Engagement gives him dopamine, and he can only get the engagement he desires from Kaspa. So he stopped talking about Bitcoin because he needs dopamine to be happy, and his Bitcoin posts don’t perform. We forced him to primarily talk about Kaspa.
