The AFL basically has to confirm to clubs that the only way a player will get 100% of merch sales from a milestone is if they break the record.
Sam Mitchell has already said the Hawks will apply for the same exception for Jack Gunston’s 300th this year.

It is a tall team. I’d imagine Reidy doesn’t play more than like 50% game time though.

Francis Evans, Matt Carroll, Lachie Cowan and Blake Acres all ruled out of opening round for Carlton.
All four could be available for round 1, though.
I imagine we'd know if Byrne or Derksen were debuting, given the Jagga/Dean announcements.

Taking on two bad contracts (not necessarily bad players, mind you) and giving them a pick back would be awful business.
Losing Charlie should free up cap space and allow us to attack free agency in 2026.
