Two things can be true at once. Jews in Iran are generally safe, and Iran kills Jews in Israel because of their jihadist ideology. This isn’t hard. Also, anything coming out of the mouth of a dude who looks like he can be a Rabbi of Rabbis, but then is visibly wearing the keffiyeh with “palestinian” swag should, perhaps, just perhaps, be taken with a little more than just a grain of salt.

Yes, they do. And agency used right when it comes to a government means you do what is best for YOUR people, prioritize YOUR people. The notion that Israel’s government should approach its security in any way that has it taking a backseat for what will happen in the other country because of said country’s problems is one of the most privileged takes ever, and shows just how little this actually effects you. Also, notice how Gad said Jews, but Dave just couldn’t pass up another opportunity to take a shot at the US government, even though Dave didn’t have to go there in this conversation because the US wasn’t mentioned.
