Please tell me: what can I do better to assimilate? To finally become a good migrant? I am a board-certified neurosurgeon, one of only a handful in this country with additional endovascular training (still undergoing), currently with 19 high-impact publications and a doctoral thesis (summa cum laude) focused on the development of an entirely new field in the microsurgical training of young neurosurgeons, patented with the goal of free worldwide accessibility and reproducibility, and in the process of publishing my first book on this topic. I also happen to love whisky and currywurst. And everything about Western literature and art, just as I love and appreciate all these things in every other culture and civilization. Sadly, I am not going to support genocidal scum and child rapists commit endless crimes against humanity, if that’s your idea of assimilation. And I am not going to just watch them burn down the world in real time and shut up about it in order to protect myself and my career. I swore an oath. And I take it very seriously. (I do however apologize for the cheap self-congratulatory introduction for the sake of the argument)

They did not censor Gaza. They did something worse. They let you see it. All of it. Then trained you to scroll. To compartmentalize. To call it tragedy instead of policy. So that the next time it happens, you are not shocked. You are updated.

@kickassJoseph @JamesPGoddard90 But nobody said you cant discuss Islam. You don't need to desecrate a holy book, that's not a political statement to address anything affecting your life, it's just a need to insult. I wouldn't "disagree" with Christians by pissing on a statue of Jesus. Thats not free speech mate

@Hassassi_nation @JamesPGoddard90 I'm just noting that one reason for burning a religious book is that it is shitty. Another, is to make a political statement supporting the principle of the free expression.

@kickassJoseph @JamesPGoddard90 Free speech isn't unconditional. Do you mind people making passing comments about your wife or daughter to you? If you think they should be safe from "free speech" then we should comment about them out of principle! And if you don't like it then get the fk out. lol?

@kickassJoseph @JamesPGoddard90 I don't believe Islam should be "free from free expression law", I have no issue with people disagreeing with Islam or discussing it. My argument is that desecrating people's beliefs or lives out of a need to antagonise isn't "free speech". That applies for anything.

@kickassJoseph @JamesPGoddard90 No idea what you're on about. That's my response to your question. What's the point of asking a question if you think you know what I "should say" lol

@kickassJoseph @JamesPGoddard90 And no, burning Korans doesn't damage Islam in the least. It's the only book which, if ALL copies were burnt now, could be recreated within a few hours all over the world exactly the same. It's memorized text. But that's not relevant to encouraging insult which has no purpose

@kickassJoseph @JamesPGoddard90 If I go seek out somebody who has a strong, life-shaping belief in Zues and "burnt Homer" with no reason other than to agitate him, then yeah I'd feel strongly about that as well. It's being shitty for the sake of being shitty, and for no other constructive reason.

When the perpetrator is Muslim, the crime is immediately framed as a civilizational issue. Religion is dragged in, and millions are made to carry the guilt of one individual. But when the perpetrator is not Muslim, the crime is usually reduced to an “isolated case,” quietly buried, or completely detached from the offender’s ideological or religious background. Victims are victims. Yet sympathy is not equal, outrage is selective, and justice in public discourse is far from blind. This selective silence serves neither truth nor victims. It protects no innocent person. Instead, it reinforces a distorted narrative: that evil is condemned only when it comes from certain people, and excused or ignored when it comes from others. Calling for justice does not mean defending anyone. It means demanding one standard for all: whoever commits a crime is held accountable, whoever harms is judged without exceptions and without moral hypocrisy. Justice that is divided is not justice at all.

@rowdyamerican69 @AdameMedia You're literally doing what you're accusing him of. You're the only one with the typical lazy rhetoric. When you pick a handful of Muslims to paint an entire religion without addressing the religion itself. How ironic

@AdameMedia This is lazy guilt by association. You don’t get to smear millions of people who criticize Islam by pointing to one killer. Islam has a real violence problem, and pretending otherwise gets more Europeans hurt.
