I’ve been banging the drum for a 1x free transfer rule for awhile now, glad this is being seriously considered by @CIFSS Any subsequent transfer should be a mandatory SOP, only exception being for military families which would be easy to prove & verify.

Stop with the SOP…. Idk why everyone is so quick to penalize the kids. Missing 5 games in football is ridiculous. Unless you change the amount of games , then I say no. Make the rule if you transfer after the 1st, you must go down a level. Or leave the district/League. SOP for football should be no longer than 2 games. More importantly, coaches and AD’s should be putting the rules together. Not “Non-Football people” who have never coached or played the game.

There's been a push in the football advisory committee to have a 16-team Division 1 playoff bracket. Really? Competitive equity says no.

St. John Bosco football head coach Jason Negro wants 16 teams in the CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoffs. @boscofootball does not want a first round bye.
