- Created an apartheid system where certain Nigerians will never get up to 10 hours of light; whether they can afford it or not
- Even Band A customers complain about getting barely 10 hours of light.
- Asked Nigerians to turn off their Freezers because that’s why the Tariffs are going up
- GenCos insists they are owed over ₦6 trillion.
- Launched the Presidential Metering Initiative in Nov. 2023 to deploy over 5 million meters by 2027. As of 3rd quarter 2025, only 818,838 have been deployed with less than a year to the target year. That’s 16% progress
- Persistent Grid collapse and blackouts. Recently he came out to apologise to Nigerians for his failures
- Failed to order an investigation relating to the missing or diverted N128 billion of public funds from the Ministry of Power and NBET.
- In 2024, he said “4000 megawatts is not acceptable and we have plans to increase the megawatts to a minimum of 6000 to 6500 within the next three to six months”
As of March 2026, Electricity supply from the national grid allocated to Discos stood at 3,331 MW.
- He could not meet his own self imposed target.
- He was so terrible, even his boss lost confidence in his ability to deliver 24/7 electricity and took the Aso Villa off the National Grid. Yeah, it’s that bad.
You can argue whether it’s his fault or Tinubu’s fault or some bigger systemic issue, the fact is, he was appointed to fix Nigeria’s Lingering Power crisis and he FAILED.
I hope the people of OYO will reject him before he brings his experience failing at the federal level to the state.

The most competent candidate and performer at the ADC is WAZIRI! None else at the ADC comes close to his administrative records in governance. I am glad the NORTH is on lockdown for the ADC, we will get the states needed in d SOUTH to win in 2027. ATIKU is the best candidate!
