@ETJY @Git_Stompa i don't see how any of this refutes anything i've stated. "not all aliens want to exterminate humanity, just most of them" cool my point still stands, the only faction interested in humanity's survival is the Imperium "oh but its so bad and does bad things" no shit, its GRIMDARK

@Havranboi @Git_Stompa Except Eldar didn't want to exterminate humanity in 3rd edition. They were still partial allies, just alien and the Imperium couldn't tell the dif between Corsair, dark and craft world. Deldar also just wanted slaves. Meanwhile Imp is the one doing War of Faith and killing ppl.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa i've pointed out to the actually major threats to humanity. Necrons, Orks, Nids, Chaos Deldar would go full Hellraiser on humanity and Eldar would just exterminate them if they could. bringing up a single event and going "ahem akshually" misses the entire point i was making

@Havranboi @Git_Stompa Dude. U the one going everyone else wants to kill humanity. 3rd edition literally establish alien races exists which doesn't want to do that but Humanity fucks itself, losing warships because they xenophobic.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa I feel like you've completely lost the track of the conversation. Imperium does horrible things, wow, i totally didn't know that, again if you read the thread this was already adressed multiple times.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa my dude, if you actually bothered to read the thread of responses from other people i had, i mostly recognize just 3rd, 3.5, 4th ed, bunch of the imperial armor books are good and HH1 under Alan Bligh was also good, most of everything else degrades in quality really fast

@ETJY @Git_Stompa again, black library bullshit which makes no sense the moment you scrutinize it. Olanius being turned into a perpetual and the perpetual plotline Dan abnett added are abominations which break the setting, everything revolving around that plotline just breaks everything.

@Havranboi @Git_Stompa He literally got stabbed by Olianus his warmaster when he did that as Alexander and tried to learn Ennunica, after which he disappeared from history ? Or... Have you not read the siege of Terra ?

@ETJY @Git_Stompa Look at the thing 40K ripped off the most, dune, and you will see actually intelligent writing. Leto II. the god Emperor of dune is perfect example of an immensly intelligent character, written well and on top of that having power of divination, written fucking PERFECLTY.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa what ideology? The way characters like malkador, the primarchs, Emperor and so on by Black library makes them out to be complete incompetent children who would never be able to achieve what the lore says they achieved prior to the existence of the HH black library series.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa The entirety of black library Horus heresy is 90% pointless filler which self contradicts each other, schizophrenic primarchs being written by multiple writers, Dan Abnett injecting whatever he wishes at the moment into the setting breaking it & turning it into nonsense

@ETJY @Git_Stompa Again a terminal case of writers being unable to write characters smarter than them, this is the case for all the primarchs too. the best part is that they had a template which they ripped of for exactly that, God emperor of Dune, Leto II. but the writers are too incompetent

@ETJY @Git_Stompa No, thats dogshit writing on Black library's part. BL consistently represents the Emperor and anything even remotely close to him as a bunch of incompetent morons, in such a way that they wouldn't be able to pull off what the lore says they did. Its atrocious writing.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa He is a psionic demigod, he could have easily established a god king authority over entirety of the planet since day 1. But everyone conveniently sweeps that part under the rug and forgets about it. Or Brings up some Dan Abnett or ADB atrocities of writing.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa I have a question for you, if emperor wanted to be a bloodthirsty warlord that ruled everything, why didn't he start from the ground up or took over when humanity was at its most powerful? he literally only appeared and took action when humanity was on the verge of extinction.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa It makes no sense for someone who has literally WITNESSED ad lived through everything up to the point in the book, can see into people's minds and has the knowledge, age and experience of someone who witnessed entirety of mankind's history to be that stupid.

@ETJY @Git_Stompa The emperor having bad arguments is the stupid part. The arguments he presents are of someone who has done little to no research, who has about 90 iq and is a teenager who is rebelling against authority, not someone who is a psychic demigod that has lived for tens of millenia.
