You’re party called inflation transitory for 1 1/2 years. It increased 23% over three years. 3 % on top of $1.23 is 4 cents, more than the first year of the Democrat inflation. You caused the compound interest dilemma and with Trump’s Drill, Baby, Drill, no telling where inflation, electricity bills, and groceries would be. We would be without heat in the winter, and air conditioning in the summer, not to mention blackouts. Trump’s policies are working for citizens, not for Democrats pockets.

This president sadly wallows in grievance, vengeance, and conspiracy while Americans want their leaders to boldly tackle persistent inflation, expensive groceries, rising gas prices, and terrible cuts to affordable healthcare. We Democrats are engaged in doing exactly that, and we will not let this president use delusional bias and a desperate attempt to preserve his personal political power to attack and undermine Americans' sacred right to vote.

Senator, the Democrats allowed illegal criminals and adversaries to walk across the border. Your party called the crisis at the border a Myth. We watched millions cross into the US and now evidence shows Democrat Leaders funded their journey from over 200 countries. ICE is mandated by Congress and your party attacks innocent officers.

Republicans refused even the most basic guardrails on ICE. Now the consequences are being measured in lives. The Trump administration rushed 12,000 agents onto our streets without ensuring they were fit to carry a badge and a gun—and Republicans gave this rogue agency vast power and no accountability. They cannot block every safeguard and then disown the deadly consequences. We must pass the commonsense reforms Democrats offered to prevent more killings.

Last year, I forced a vote to block Donald Trump from taking a single cent of taxpayer money to renovate his foreign-gifted luxury jet.
