@HawkersPot easily done (and btw I overlooked Oliver Twist, dammit!) by going to clic.bham.ac.uk/concordance and selecting Dickens Novels top right, although you might need to a LOT of keyword searching!

in a piece of groundbreaking research, I can inform you that A Tale of Two Cities is the only Dickens novel not to contain an umbrella.
