Just buy the disc version and if it's discless the dynamic pricing wouldn't matter anyway and fuck back compat anyway

You can do that while spending $120/$80 a year for online play and cloud storage, $200 for an extra TB of storage, be locked to 1 storefront that will impliment dynamic pricing based on how much you spend on the store, can't play PS1/2/3 games, and can only use the PS5 controller unless you buy a Brook adapter. Wow, such better and cheaper options...

@ConsumerOfMon @Black_D_Gamer1 Your logic makes no sense because you can build something of am4 specification for cheaper, a 5700x3d and mtx mobo and a 4070 is less than 700 pounds a mouse and keyboard together is like 120 the ram is the only issue but getting 3200 or 3600 isn't actually too bad

@Black_D_Gamer1 Its the same issue with the car community. "Spec sheet bros" and "dyno sheet bros" literally nothing else matters to them. Biggest performance number for price range possible ironically in price ranges they can never afford "but if i had the money I could build something better"

@Black_D_Gamer1 the arguments people make are so dumb too. Like i was preparing for this thing to be 1200$+ for months since thats what rumors predicted. So I saved up and when the base model released at 1049$ I basically shrugged as that was right in the ballpark of what I expected lol

@Keksy24 100x fewer games right and old take those games over most friendslop aislop Korean mmo slop shit that those 100x more games tend to be... You don't have to pay all the time just have a few games lined up and in a month finish them all. I don't play online on ps5 so don't use that

This is an above decent pc your 9800x3d is literally not needed the 5700x3d a zen 4 will obviously not be better but way more than enough for any game and 64gb is just overkill and if your running 4 sticks even more useless

@Dank_Deku_Tree The only issue with my rig is that I haven't seen fit to upgrade my old GPU, because the gains are minimal. I run everything on ultra settings pretty much without issue. I've been building PCs since the 90s, and this personal ship of theseus has been around since then.

@Demoncoww @Hurricanehugo13 There is a 512gb nvme in there that was around 40 as well I could upgrade to a am5 system for less than 1k depending on ram as no need to upgrade GPU or PSU or keyboard or mouse but yes the am4 system is still a better choice for less the only thing thats better is it's 6inchs

@Demoncoww @Hurricanehugo13 5700x3d 180 32gb ddr4 3200 haven't looked for current prices but was around 130 4070 400 motherboard b350 f strix was 90 keyboard was a razer tournament edition from 2014 was around 50 g502 was around 40 850w PSU was around 80 stronger than steam machine I'm sure

The playstation to steam machine comparisons are really funny to me cause while yes, price wise its better, youre then stuck with a worse, more limiting library of games, worse support team, lack of modding support on basically all games minus like 3 or so and no steam sales

@astaranx Ps5 has vrr and alm Dolby vision is whatever hdr10 is practically the same and if GTA5 is anything to go buy that 1second will add upto minutes and quick resume is whatever put your ps5 to sleep goto sleep and then instantly play it again
