I like ironing. I like my clothes to have creases down the arms. I have a great iron. It will only take me just over a hour. I like to look good when I go out. I also wear lots of linen, cotton and silk, that all need ironing. I have a small handheld steam devise to get rid of extra crinkles.

Thought you would all like to know I had a lot better day today. 2 loads of washing on the line, in for ironing this week. Duvet inner changed to winter weight for a better night's sleep. Sat on the deck for a couple of hours in the sun reading Barry's book until a friend from Tasmania rang for a gossip. Life was good today.

@Dame__Jane So hear you on leaf maintenance! I’m going thru about 4 recharges on my leaf blower each day with the deciduous trees to keep things presentable to any viewers. Previously I raked it all absolute madness sometimes dream of small low maintenance properties it’s a love/hate thing!

Autumn at my Father’s is beautiful but the leaf detritus omg .. While not wanting to be dishonest for our meal time 2nd viewings this weekend, I did enlist the help of a friend to make it less leafy! (The leaf vacuum comes with the property) This is one of my fave wwoofers ever. He popped in to say hi en route the airport home and ended up staying all day to help out.. Gabby helped too 😅
