This sounds messy because the writers actively disagree on that. So it’s just a waiting game now.

@REBiohazardNews Insanity is probably the easiest max difficulty that a RE game has had.

I really wish RE9 had a “hard” mode. I feel like standard difficulty is honestly slightly easy, and Insanity is borderline impossible without using unlock-able buffs. In other words, unless you want to genuinely be miserable or a complete sweat, you’re going to have to play a game mode that is honestly one of the easier “normal” difficulties of the series. I’d really like to see a hard difficulty that bridges the gap between classic standard and insanity.
