@TrevMcKendrick The single most defining moment was that we both pitched SoftBank and they did a better job and got the money. Maybe because they used tips to sub the fleet wages and make their unit economics look better than ours. Regardless. They won.

My take on the NJ drone activity... There are only 3 possible scenarios -- 1) A US/DoD agency is testing its capabilities and must do so in those specific areas for an extended duration and this testing duration is critical enough to national security that the political risks of gaslighting the public is considered justified. 2) A US/DoD agency is conducting domestic social reaction testing/experimentation. 3) A foreign adversary is goading the US/DoD into a kinetic/electronic/infiltrative response so as to observe our defensive capabilities for the purpose of future circumvention... which the US/DoD will not do for obvious reasons. This comports with the idea that they "do not pose a threat" to civilian safety because if they did then the US/DoD wouldn't have the luxury of not responding despite the long-term strategic risk in doing so. Also, it has no choice but to continue gaslighting the public and delaying an explanation because it cannot risk public vigilantism.
