Andrey Melnichenko has now had his yacht seized by Italy, to go with the sanctions imposed on him across the EU on Thursday. Yet Liz Truss, who guaranteed £50.94mn in credit for Melnichenko's coal company in 2019-20, has still not added him to the UK sanctions list. Why is that?

Before the NHS was created, people said free universal healthcare was impossible. A Labour government built the NHS and proved them wrong. That should be our approach to social care: a National Care Service, free at the point of use, funded by tax rises on the super-rich.
