When we talk about cultural longevity, Queen Latifah should definitely be towards the top of that list. She’s been culturally relevant for almost 40 years without a dip. She’s a real elder stateswoman of the culture.

Today, history was made. The United Nations General Assembly has passed the resolution declaring the trafficking of enslaved Africans and the racialised chattel enslavement of Africans as among the gravest crimes against humanity. This historic vote marks a significant step forward in the global pursuit of truth, accountability, and reparatory justice. For generations, communities across the African diaspora have carried the weight of this injustice. Today, the world has taken an important step toward acknowledging that truth. We honor those who fought, those who suffered, and those who continue to demand justice. The vote is not the end of the journey. It is the beginning of a new chapter. The work continues.

We lost another cartoon legend Barry Caldwell, a veteran animator, director, and storyboard artist who helped shape countless iconic animated shows and films, has sadly passed away. Thank you, legend. Rest in peace

@comfysim I had to have 2 windows open to disable my Ethernet adapter just to have time to stop the updating. I saw some files got added to my Sims 4 folder though.

@HazelMine1 I just looked and mine are off too so you’re not wrong at all! They shouldn’t be able to force us to update 😒

EA app loves to start updating without your permission. Let me make sure I turn off automatic updates!

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

@TheSimsDirect [.02] for the EA app and games. Twice now it has started to download the update before I could even click the top left menu to "go offline". This is ridiculous. If I select an option not to auto update, why are you all trying to force update on MY pc for a game I paid for?

@TheSimsDirect I did not update my game, thank goodness. But WHY does the EA keep trying to make me? I am in offline mode, and when I click to launch my game, it says I haven't logged in for awhile,so I need to restart EA app and check stay signed in to play offline.I have auto update off [.01]
