Join @SamReckPeterson & lab in committing to donate $100 to the #HenriettaLacksFoundation for every #HeLa cell line you create. Lacks died of cancer in 1951. Her cells were taken and shared without her knowledge and are still used routinely in research labs today.

I'll be donating to the @HeLaFoundation because I literally could not have graduated college without Henrietta Lacks' cells. Henrietta Lacks died without knowing how vastly important she would become to the world. The least we can do is keep her legacy alive and family strong.
