Update to the Hanta virus cruise ship 🚢 One man disembarked during the journey back to Switzerland and now has a confirmed case of the Andes Hanta virus. Possible case in France isn’t confirmed but was on a commercial flight with a woman who tested positive for the virus.

@ahoelzel @outbreakupdates It’s not contained. The first person who died flew on a flight from st Helena to Johannesburg South Africa, and his wife escorted his body. She flew with 82 passengers to South Africa. She had symptoms on the flight, collapsed in the airport and died the next day.
