15.After jumping off the last med, it took 18 months for the 24/7 akathisia to subside to a few hours after waking up. It was a gradual process, no windows, plenty of waves and everything seemed in slow motion that it felt like an eternity. I couldn't explain how I'm still alive.

14. 2014-2016 were 3 years spent in akathisia terror, confined in my room, scared to even live. My mom brought me food in my room and her simple presence was too stimulating, I would lean back like a caged animal. I spent all day waiting for the night and dreaded the bed.

13. I switched over to 40mg diazepam, waited 2 months and seeing no improvements i started the Asthon taper. It took me 19 months to reach zero by Christmas of 2015.

12. After my last 0.25mg of clonazepam I descended into the deepest hell known to man. I lasted 33 days in TERROR and I had to reinstate otherwise I would have been dead for sure. Reinstatement didn't work, but gave me a reduction of 30% in intensity and allowed me to sleep.

9. I was in my hometown and I said to my parents that's it, I have to quit meds, either I die or survive...So I did quit CT escitalopram and the 3mg of clonazepam I reduced to zero over the next 2 months. 3 days after the CT i descended into a hell now many people survived.

8. September 2013 I went to the doctor complaining I'm not getting better, my symptoms don't improve and I want to quit the "treatment" and how I should do it? Her reply: "You can just quit the antidepressant and the 3mg of clonazepam take half less every week". Little did I kow
