Health advisory issued for the animal tranquilizer called xylazine found mixed with illegal drugs distributed in Texas. Xylazine drug combinations have led to at least four reported xylazine-related deaths. Xylazine effects cannot be reversed with the use of naloxone.

It is Red Ribbon Week and time to shine a light on the importance of keeping all CISD campuses drug free. During this week, it is important to be reminded of the hidden dangers of drugs such as prescription medications and fentanyl.
