As we move into the next chapter of Haringey's LTNs, Cllr @mikehakata highlights their positive impact. 🌳 The Bounds Green, St Ann's, and Bruce Grove West Green LTNs were given the green light to continue. Let's keep working together for a fairer, greener borough.

Haringey set is to make all three of its trial LTNs permanent, according to cabinet papers just published. in the biggest, Bruce Grove West Green, cycling increased by 33%, collisions down by 56%, just a 3% increase in boundary road traffic minutes.haringey.gov.uk/documents/s148…

Turns out kids DO love a car-free street to play on!

Cabinet approves another 8 Haringey school streets! And because we are designing many as 'School Street zones' covering a number of connected streets, these schemes will protect over 4.5k kids at 13 schools. Streets for Safety, Streets for Clean Air #StreetsForChildren

Footways are for pedestrians. It's really simple: cars do not belong on the pavement. We are reviewing 51 roads this year to remove footway parking.
