The murder of Stephanie Minter in Fairfax has turned into an unbelievably massive scandal. A newly released email shows that the Fairfax Police Department warned Commonwealth Attorney Steve Descano's office this past November about releasing illegal alien repeat offender Adbul Jalloh back into the community. They said "it's not a question of if, but when he will maliciously wound (or worse) again." And they were right. He murdered Stephanie Minter at a bus stop last week. Steve Descano and Abigail Spanberger have blood on their hands.

I just had a conversation with my 28-year-old daughter, who’s attending school here in Virginia. I asked her a simple question: “Are you a Democrat or a Republican?” She paused for a moment — I could see a little hesitation in her eyes — and then said, “Honestly… I don’t know.” So I asked her six questions. 1️⃣ Do you believe this country provides opportunities, but it’s up to you to take advantage of them? ➡️ She said yes. 2️⃣ Do you believe the government owes you and should provide for you? ➡️ She said no. 3️⃣ Do you believe in family traditions, where parents guide the social values and upbringing of their children? ➡️ She said yes. 4️⃣ Should government stay out of how parents raise their children? ➡️ She said yes. 5️⃣ Do you feel the money you earn belongs to you, and that the government should lower taxes and stay out of your paychecks? ➡️ She said yes. 6️⃣ Do you think your hard-earned money should go to those who are able to work but choose not to? ➡️ She said no. I looked at her and said, “You’re a conservative.” She paused again and said, “School never made that clear. They just made it sound like Republicans are rich white people, and Democrats are low-income minorities” — which she is. That moment hit me hard — because I grew up hearing the same thing. As a biracial son of a Puerto Rican mother and Filipino father in California, that same subtle message was placed in me growing up. It wasn’t loud or obvious, but it was there — shaping how I viewed opportunity, success, and even other people. They don’t call it indoctrination — but that’s exactly what it is. It’s a quiet form of bias disguised as “education.” It plants guilt in Caucasian students and teaches minority students to accept that they are less. That’s not equality — that’s division. This is the subtle seed of DEI that was placed in me growing up in California — the same one now being watered in our schools today. As parents, mentors, and leaders, we have to talk to our children. It’s not their fault this narrative was planted in them, just like it wasn’t my fault decades ago. But it is our responsibility to correct it. We have to change the story — not with anger, but with truth. I’ve fought to protect this nation in distant lands from those who wanted to destroy it. But I never thought I’d come home to find socialism and racism quietly creeping into our classrooms and hearts.
