Advanced Placement teachers came together for a day of collaboration, planning, and professional growth with representatives from College Board! With a shared commitment to student success, these educators explored ways to elevate instruction in the HEC region.

Instructional Technology staff from the region visited North Wauchula Elementary and Hardee Junior High yesterday! They saw authentic student engagement in classrooms and learned about different programs available in Hardee County including Robotics and Odyssey of the Mind.

It was a terrific Tuesday at Wauchula Elementary celebrating Celebrate Literacy Week with a family literacy event. Students shared their favorite books, families had dinner, and learned about opportunities available through New Worlds Reading! #newworldsreading #loveofreading

On October 4th, HEC hosted our first Assistant Principal Forum for the 2023-2024 school year. We had representatives from all 6 school districts.

STEM Scholars in our Heartland region had their engineering skills put to the test on Saturday at our @fgcu STEM Forum. Students competed (at their own school sites) to see who could design the water rocket that would travel the longest distance.
