@ji711 I’d like to see Texas have an October race again, especially if it was a night race.
But from a business perspective of filling stands and getting campers, putting it to 1 weekend with a triple header makes sense.

The issue is not just rude moments, it is a pattern. Women in the field, weather, STEM, storm chasing, photography aren asking for much just to be treated as equals and peer, standing right there and doing otherwise sends a clear message about who you think matters.
There are plenty of highly skilled and talented storm chasers of both sexes. This community is better when people actually recognize that. Acknowledge everyone, include everyone, and act like they belong.

The disrespect of women in this community is indeed sad. Over the years, when Chelsea and I are sitting somewhere, there have been dozens of chasers (men) who come up to say hi to me and completely ignore her, like blatantly. Noone is asking for a red carpet welcome, but some of you cant even be bothered to simply smile and say hi back. Its pathetic. Its been bugging me for a couple years but Ive kept my mouth shut until now. If this is who you are as a person, dont even bother saying hi to me.
