A big turning point for me is being a bit more active with your spot portfolio. I've nailed two massive moves this cycle already: 1. Sell all my ETH into SOL in June 2023. 2. Sell some SOL & BTC into ETH in Nov 2024. But now I am starting to compare altcoins and memecoins with my largest two bags: Solana and Bitcoin. Ultimately, you have to consider profits & tax, but for me I want to maximise my gains as much as possible. So what I am spending a lot of time doing now is analysing potential altcoins to reduce my Solana exposure. Solana still dominates my portfolio: over 60% of my networth and I am very bullish on it. But charts like $AVAX, $SUI, $NEAR & $PYTH, possibly $ETH look like they could outperform Solana moving into 2025.
